What I Ate Wednesday: Feb 08th, 2012

Millet Chia toast with organic butter, walnuts & an organic gala to start my day off!

 Unpictured: Lunch (sans bellini)

Yup, I ate the whole thing...

Fail pizza... more on that later. I have a few more gf pizza mixes to review before I post my results but needless to say this one isn't high ranking...

After reviewing last week's WIAW and comparing it to this week's, I'm noticing a disturbing trend of breakfast, chocolate, dinner. I need to do something about this... bad nutritionist!

  4. Hmmm, at least the chocolate had fruit and nuts in it? Your pizza looks delicious.

    1. An optimist- I love it! But there's always room for improvement, right?

  5. This is my first visit, so forgive me if you've already said this, but are you taste testing different pizza crust mixes? I'd love to hear your results! I've only tried a couple, but love the Bobs Red Mill brand. :-)

    1. You totally foiled my plan Jennie! I've gone through 7 or so different ones with 2 more awaiting trials... the post should be ready soon- I've been working on it since May of last year!

  6. Is it possible to not eat a whole Cadbury milk bar in a sitting? I think not. And g'luck with gf pizza testing. I know how important gluten is for pizza dough, so I can only imagine how hard is must be to find a good one.

    1. I'm not going to lie, it's not the same... but that certainly doesn't stop me from trying!

  7. Damn! I don't usually crave chocolate, but it seems like EVERYBODY is blogging about it these days, and then it's all I can think about. Thankfully, I'm allergic to those nuts so I'll just try to focus on the anaphylactic shock aspect of that particular chocolate bar and maybe it will seem less appealing.

    1. That's a terrible strategy to work with (Mr.C uses the same thought process when it comes to anything ridden with cow's dairy)! I suppose it is "that time of year" when everyone's supposed to be hounding the chocolate & sugar. Something's so wrong with our society...
